Lac Tran is the Senior Vice President, CIO and associate Dean at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He has spent 20 years as a CIO at such large healthcare institutions as the University of Dayton Research Institute, Wilford Hall Medical Center, State University of New York at Stony Brook Health Science and Medical Center, Harvard medical School Boston Children's Hospital, and Baylor College of Medicine Methodist HealthCare Systems. Forging a path as one of the pioneers of networking image processing, especially in areas related to medicine, Lac has also won numerous awards. His awards include the Commander-Chief Excellence Award Recognition for special projects, Air Educations and Training Command for the National Casualty Tracking system.
