Mr. Vaughan is accountable for the firm’s global IT capabilities and resources that support operational and business strategies.  He is charged with effectively integrating information technology into engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, accounting, and HR functions.  Keys to his success are developing relationships with major technology providers to jointly explore means to continuously drive value and maintain technology leadership in the industry; developing and maintaining information technology practices including leading or supporting implementation and integration throughout the company; and integrating common information technology solutions across the enterprise.  Mr. Vaughan is also responsible for developing key performance measurements to monitor effectiveness of information technology activities.

In 2005, Mr. Vaughan successfully led a company-wide initiative to create an integrated global IT services delivery platform resulting in the selection of EDS (now HP) as B&V’s strategic technology partner.  The effort has resulted in enhanced support of core business operations, improved user support services, and reduced cost.

As the Chief Technology Officer for the Department of Energy Peter Tseronis is responsible for identifying and supporting innovative programs to transform and modernize the technology and methods in which the department executes our mission, leads the government and supports our citizens.

Peter helps bridge the divide among public and private sectors as well as across federal agencies, and ultimately helps supports our mission by cultivating a department-wide vision for our national initiatives.

Recognized as a federal thought leader and transformation agent, Peter is focused on the impact and importance technology and information management to in supporting the Nation’s objectives.

Federally, he is engaged with policy initiatives to represent the Department and incorporate these strategies into our IT management practices and as a result of his leadership has been asked to lead numerous activities to mature federal technology and information infrastructure.

Peter began his federal career more than 20 years ago, previously serving as the CTO and Director of Network Services for the U.S. Department of Education.

Jay Keyse has over 20 years experience in the IT Industry, predominantly gained in the oil & gas, commercial business and IT-Outsourcing fields.
Jay joined HP Enterprise Services (then EDS) in 1996 to lead the Pan-European Xerox UNIX Systems Team following that with the role of EDS EMEA Intranet Services Manager and then Electronic Business Technical Consultant. Between 2000 and 2009 Jay fulfilled the role of Chief Architect for the EMEA Automated Hosting Services organisation, the role of Global Chief Technologist for the Infrastructure Portfolio Product Development group, and then the role of CTO for HP Enterprise Services Data Centre Services Service Line.  More recently Jay has transitioned to the role of Director of Strategy for the Data Centre Services-Service Line.

Jay also has a unique focus within the technical community of HP ES that of a Capability/Product definer matching market perceived business need to technology and delivery capabilities in support of HP ES’ Market facing Services.

Jay is a member of the CTO Practice. A specialist Group of Senior Technologists who form a network community to share  knowledge, best practises and industry wide awareness of Strategies, IT Architecture, best of Breed Products selection and general Technology Direction and future roadmaps. She has a particular interest in Cloud & Utility Compute, virtualization technologies plus Internet Infrastructures, Systems Management and Service Delivery all in the wider context of how these support the Business.

A disciplined and energetic Strategist with a unique external market face coupled with an internal execution focus. Equally used to working as part of a team and mentoring or taking a leadership role.

In our mobile and interconnected world, we're constantly playing catch up with "what", "how much", and "where" as we try to meet the expectations of our customers who want it all yesterday. We may feel we're not "in control," but could IT change that? If so, how? For example, what if we were to create a dynamically scalable and extensible IT application and infrastructure portfolio where all costs are variable and all IT is provisioned "on demand" to meet this end? Would this be a good idea? Would it solve our problems?
