Greg is currently the Vice President of Enterprise Applications at Sprint Nextel. Gregory Jones has worked in the IT industry for nearly 20 years. He has managed nearly all aspects of the IT portfolio including Billing, Care, Ordering, Business Intelligence, Web Portal, Identity Management, Data Management, and Middleware applications. Greg has worked in nearly a dozen countries, and has worked at IBM, Xerox, Booz Allen & Hamilton, AT&T, Concert, and Sprint Nextel. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and universities, and has been contributed to several published articles. In May 2007, he received the coveted "Ones to Watch" award from CIO magazine, reserved for those individuals that are considered to be the next generation of CIOs.

When increasingly complex IT systems and applications must be modified by globally dispersed technical teams due to a deluge of requests from a variety of stakeholders, we call it "change" in today's world. Managing this change is not easy, and unmanaged changes have cost organizations a fortune. Surprisingly, there are still a lot of companies who don't have a formal control mechanism defined. Are we missing something here?
